Professional bio
Bryan Larson is a Canadian SaaS business strategist and UX design leader. He is currently the Vice President of Strategy for Vendasta, a top Canadian tech company that aims to make technology accessible for small and medium-sized businesses. In this role, Bryan has played a key part in developing, guiding, and sharing the organization’s strategic plans and future goals. His work on product vision and his ability to organize and motivate teams have greatly influenced the company’s ongoing success. Alongside his role at Vendasta, Bryan also consults and mentors startups, lectures at various post-secondary institutions, and actively speaks in the tech community. He joined Vendasta in 2013 to build a scalable, high-quality product and design team, establish experience standards, and improve the corporate brand.
Before joining Vendasta, Bryan worked at Yardi Canada and Point2 Technologies, where he focused on brand and design. He earned a B.Ed degree from the University of Saskatchewan and has certifications in Scrum and UX management.
Personal interests
Bryan is a passionate traveler and amateur photographer. His love for hiking and backpacking has taken him to some of the most stunning landscapes in the world. He has trekked to the base camp of Mount Everest in Nepal and completed all of New Zealand’s famous Great Walks. Bryan enjoys exploring exotic destinations like Peru, Switzerland, Australia, Thailand, and many others. He also frequently explores slot canyons in the deserts of the United States, often venturing into remote areas to appreciate the beauty of these unique places. Whether he is in the Australian outback or the Swiss Alps, Bryan’s adventures reflect his endless curiosity and love for nature.
